White wine made from grapes of Alvarinho variety produced exclusively in Monção and Melgaço. The vines are more than 14 years old and have low production with high levels of acidity and good maturation. A wine made “the old way” with fermentation on skins, with more color and moretannins. It intends to get the maximum potential from the Alvarinho variety. Complex nose, strong floral aromas together with hints of spicy/oaky aromas (hints of vanilla) and mineral (stony steely character). On the palate, slight herbaceous typical from the variety. Greatstructure with a fresh acidity along with a large, evolving and long end.
